On March 12, Shen Ji, Chairman of Shanghai FrancescoroboticsTechnology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Francescorobotics), led a delegation to visit the Institute of Engineering Technology, University of Science and Technology Beijing (IET,USTB). Zhang Yongjun, Dean of IET, and Xiao Xiong, Vice Dean, attended the exchange meeting.

Xiao Xiong extended a warm welcome to the delegation and comprehensively introduced IET’s development history, organizational structure and core research fields. He pointed out that the two parties boast high cooperation potential in core areas including industrial intelligent equipment inspection and large model application. He hoped this exchange would serve as a new starting point to launch pragmatic and efficient cooperation tailored to real industrial scenarios.

Shen Ji expressed gratitude for the warm reception and elaborated on Francescorobotics’ overall planning for curtain wall cleaning as well as its current progress in robot scenario application. She proposed to take this exchange as a bridge to gain in-depth understanding of IET’s technical strengths and application foundations, and carry out in-depth cooperation on curtain wall cleaning robots to drive collaborative innovation in technological R&D and project implementation for both sides.

Based on their respective technical strengths and development positioning, the two sides held extensive discussions on core technical demands, typical application scenarios and long-term docking mechanisms, reaching broad consensus. They also agreed to conduct further exchanges on AI-enabled application empowerment and management platform construction. All participants agreed to deepen communication and collaboration, leverage complementary strengths to accelerate the refinement and implementation of cooperation matters, laying a solid foundation for all-round and in-depth cooperation in the future.

In his concluding remarks, Zhang Yongjun stressed that the vitality of cooperation lies in solving practical problems. He proposed establishing a progress tracking mechanism based on key milestones to precisely tackle technical bottlenecks targeting current challenges.
