Quenching Dilatometer DIL805A

Laboratory

Quenching dilatometer

Manufacturer: BÄHR-Thermoanalyse GmbH (Germany)2.jpg

Equipment model: DIL805A

Location: Room 102 of Science and Technology Building

Person-in-charge: Guo Jin

Tel.: 62332598-6103

Main functions:

Used for phase transition test and study of metal material. The temperature range of the corresponding structure can be obtained by measuring the change in length of the specimen during heating and cooling.

1) Determination of phase transition point during heating, such as determination of AC1 and AC3 of steel.

2) Determination of phase transition point during continuous cooling, to obtain a CCT curve.

3) Determination of phase transition point during the constant temperature process after rapid cooling, to obtain a TTT curve.

4) Determination of coefficient of linear expansion during heating and cooling.

5) Simulation of heat treatment process and welding process.
