Manufacturer: Zwick (Germany)
Equipment model: HTM 16020
Location: Room 116 of Science and Technology Building
Person-in-charge: Chen Guangxiu
Tel.: 62332598-6205
Main functions:
The equipment is hydraulically loaded with high-performance isostatic pressing actuators that can reach linear speeds up to 20 m/s, and high-performance control measurement systems for tension, bending, compression, shearing or compound tests, to accurately measure the physical and mechanical properties, stress/strain parameters, etc. of metal, composite materials, plastics and other materials and parts under instantaneous load impact under high strain rate.
It is widely used in new materials research and development, aerospace and automotive fields and other fields, such as for measuring the stress/strain performance parameters of automotive panels and impact shock-absorbing components of load under high strain rate, for software simulation tests of high-speed collision of vehicles. Test data accuracy and reliability are much higher than those obtained by static tensile test.
Main technical parameters:
Nominal load: 160 kN
Max. impact load: 100 kN (at a speed of 20 m/s)
Total piston stroke: 400 mm (including the limit buffer stroke at both ends)
Nominal stroke: 300 mm
Max. testing speed: 20 m/s)
